Professional introduction

Dr Noémi Bordás

“Even today, certain medical conditions remain taboo, particularly aesthetic concerns affecting the genital area.” Alongside function, appearance and the psychosocial and sexual factors connected with quality of life may also carry considerable importance.

Dr Noémi Bordás graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Szeged and began her clinical work in the Department of Urology at Semmelweis Hospital in Kiskunhalas. She sees patients at several locations in Hungary and is an active member of an internationally recognised surgical team in Belgrade specialising in gender-affirming and genital reconstructive surgery.

Her main fields of interest are transgender healthcare, urology, aesthetic surgery and uro-genital reconstruction. During professional study visits she has attended recognised international centres in Serbia, Italy, Portugal, England and Brazil, and she maintains close cooperation with Hungarian and international specialists.
